He stated that this team was the most "powerful" team he has ever been around.
Moffitt is renowned for his training program and widely regarded as one of the best in the business. So, to hear him fired up about this season gives me extra confidence that the Tigers are gonna shut some folks up this year. Should be a lot of fun!

Only workout he talked about in particular were the 110 yard sprints that he has been doing for the past 11 years. Can't recall the word dojo being mentioned.

he talked about the power clean, broad jump, and verticle jump, how it relates to football. said this the most powerful team, on paper, he has had in his 11 years.
he said this is the highest percentage of players that have passed the 16 110's. it's tied with the 2002 team with 88%.
drake nevis and p.j. set records for the power clean. patrick peterson is the strongest player he's ever had. (for his size).
r. s. no one can compete with his conditioning/running. he doesn't get tired. reminded him of corey webster.
all this is very good for the teams focus, drive, and will to be better. if this team can stay healthy, look out. going to be very good season.

Lets hope we can dominate the trenches like we should. Then It will be a good year.

Someone who had seen workouts this summer who also said this was some of the best work he had seen the team do in many years talked about the dojo workout.
If I remember correctly, it's a fast-paced call and reponse type workout. Sort of a cross between military boot camp type stuff and like Asian influences.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but it's all about quick response and repeated stuff over and over to build stamina and reflex. Done very quickly and over and over. The Bengals? I believe use this method for their workouts.
I think there were a lot of things going on behind the scenes the past couple of years (like Moffitt being sick and Ciron Black being injured but still playing) and I look for vast improvement from this team this year. Maybe I'm just being hopeful but I really think we're going to see a better product in all aspects of our game.
I really like that we were picked 4th in the SEC West. I love it. I hope it's all the team hears about from now until December.

Caught the very end, said that not a single player missed a single workout this summer.
also, the team as a whole graded out at 88% in all the fitness tests, which was the highest since he's been here.
It sounds nice to me.
I like to hear this!
