Have you always been a negatiger or positiger?

Regarding catastrophe syndrome.

In the Where Were You Thread regarding the 2003 NC game, I posted "Grilling shish kabob and getting ready for Oklahoma to hammer the Tigers. I was a negatiger even WHEN Saban was the coach."

So have you always been in your respective camps? I've always had love for LSU, but I've always been kind of a pessimist. Concerned the bottom was about to fall out.

It has nothing to do with Miles.

I don't care anymore. I just want to see a team go out there and play with fire.

When I was younger, I was positiger. Now that I have more life experiences, I like to call myself a realitiger.

I am a steadytiger. I'll express my disappointments from time to time. But I don't turn every conversation into a coach bashing fest. You'd be surprised, there are a lot of these obsessed negatators on pay sites too.

I'm a realist. Each prediction and attitude depends on the situation.

Just as a side note, I was very concerned we would lose to OK in 2003. Felt pretty good about beating Ohio St.

This X1000

In general I see it as a way for the ignorant to try and shut people up from posting about things they don't want to read. It seems it mostly comes from the crowd known as "positigers" who only want to see great predictions posted about LSU and can't stand anything other than that.

I'm an anti-bandwagon fan. I have a great time at games NO MATTER WHAT. 2 years ago we partied through that Ole Miss beat down, high fiving for the littlist schitt. I'm going to have a great time in Tiger stadium, I'll let someone else bitch about college kids. It football, jeez. My first semester at LSU was the fall of 1992. Yea, we beat Tulane at home and St on the road. One of the most fun times of my life was that collective season. I went to LSU for 8 years, so it's much more than just a football game to me. It's LSU that I love. I DGAF what happens on the field, I'm going to cheer for those kids because of what they represent.

Neither, I attended LSU & had family play football there. I call it like it is. I however don't live in a purple & gold haze like Choctaw & some of his friends. Average football at LSU is not exceptable for me.

I know...i know. Let me guess...you're a "realitiger" too. Negatigers seem to like that term.

Average football is not acceptable to me either.

Bitching helps though? At least everyone around you knows that you do not put up with average football.

Enjoy the games or go do something else. Pretty darn easy.

+1 hope for the best but have realistic expectations. Example this season I think 8 wins is realistic.
