VOLS fan here. Hope things are going well this offseason in Tigerland.

I'm planning to attend the LSU/Tennessee game on 10/2 and am considering purchasing tickets on the visitor sideline (Section 303). What is the lowest row where I will be able to see the game over the players standing up? I am looking at seats on row 2, but is that too low?

Thanks in advance.

Most people in rows 1-10 are forced to stand, then the next 5 rows behind them are semi-squatting/leaning through gaps to see the action.

You won't be able to see shite except on the big screens.

Best spot to sit really low is in the endzones. Otherwise u probly wanna be 15-20 rows up. I had seats for the 08 Bama game in like row 24 on the thirty yard line behind the LSU bench and it was perfect(blocked field goal right in front us ). Then for the FLorida game in 09 I was down a few rows lower and it was hard to see over the players. I could tell what was going on from half field over to the florida side, but I couldnt see a whole half of the field!

That seat would be horrendous.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad I asked before buying the tickets.

It was pefect for us because we jawed with Brandon Spikes and the Florida secondary (2009) when they were on the bench resting. They jawed back at us, which was cool. We wanted Tebow but he stayed under Meyer's skirt the whole game after stomping on the eye. It seemed like we were watching the Jumbo Tron rather than the game with seats on Row 3. Fans down that low act like it's a recital. I doubt I get tickets that low again. These were corporate people, not DIE HARDS. There was only 1 Gator fan in the bunch that I saw and her boyfriend was a Tiger. So, don't assume because you're behind the Tennessee bench that you'll be among friends. Get ready to hear "Tiger Bait'' all night from those who have had too much to drink.

This.

I hope that is true elsewhere, since I am 22 rows up behind the LSU bench for the UNC game.

Someone should buy the crappy sidelines seats. If you are traveling from Tenn to see the game, maybe you are just the person.

But if you want to see the game, sit about 20 rows up.

If only there was a ticket exchange board to discuss this kind of stuff...

Not a problem at the Georgia Dome since row 1 isn't on the ground.
