The idea of the movie is scary, taht this actually happened. The movie itself wasn't to bad, but if I was in that situation I would be shitting bricks.

how was it boring/predictable? I don't get how anyone can complain about it being predictable. There are basically 2 ways it can go, it went 1 way, but that was kinda the point of the movie.

It didn't happen. It was "based on true events." The "true events" happened when someone knocked on the door numerous times throughout the night at the director's summer home when he was kid and asked for someone who wasn't there. That's all the story is based off of.

It's based on a 100% true event, which makes it a 12 out of 10 on the TD scary scale.

My dad sure as shite didn't tell me this before he took me to see it. I was young, I didn't know it was fake. That last scene scared the shite out of me. He told me it was fake on the way home though so it was ok

This movie was alright, but as for it being scary 3 out of 10 in my opinion.
