Why can't we put more of them in the upper decks?

Good question. We always get screwed over, yet we don't return the favor.

We don't give any more prime seats away than any other SEC school. I've had really good visiting tickets at just about every SEC school I've bought tickets for.

Actually, most of the visitors sit in the east upper deck. There's a lot less visitors in the south endzone than there used to be.

What LSU should do is divide the visitors up and have them sit on the edges of each upper deck (No visitors between the 10's in the upper decks.)

of the 4 times I went to the swamp the only time I had good seats were when I got them there, they never give visiting fans good spots

We changed it this year. Moved a bunch more to the top rows of the east upper.

LSU gave more prime lower level seats than any other school with a comparable stadium. They took away all of the lower sideline seats this year for visitors. So that means more in the upper deck. Auburn used to do like we did but they made this move about 6 years ago. LSU is finally catching on.

What the other big schools do is split us up visitors in corners of their stadium. Unless you are a student or give big bucks to TAF, you don't get good seats for away games from LSU.

Verge Ausberry was on air a couple of weeks ago and addressed this issue.

He acknowledged that LSU has considerable more lower-level visitor seats than other SEC schools. It's something they're working on, but he said part of the problem is that season-ticket holders in the lower upper decks do not want to move down to the lower southeast corner. It also involves financial implications. Tradition Fund would increase if some moved down, and they're opting to stay in upper deck.

IMO, LSU should do like they're doing in basketball - tell those fans in the upper decks that they are being moved and have two options, 1) lower bowl or 2) less desirable "free zone" of upper decks.

Let them sit close so they can see their boys suffer!

I had 8 seats on the 30 yard line two rows up once (back in 98 I believe). UF spreads the fans all over the field so they can't make noise sitting together.

Ole Miss hands out some goods seats also. There is usually an entire section between the goaline and the 10 yard line.

I wouldn't exactly call corner lowerbowl seats "prime." Like someone above mentioned, I would rather keep by sideline lower upperdeck seats than move into a corner section.

It's not really that big of a deal. It probably also looks better on tv to see people in seats near the field. At least the visitors will not be heading for the exits halfway through the 3rd quarter.

Bama splits us up the most i think. We are in all corners with very few lower level seats. Florida isn't too bad. Ole miss is too small to split anyone too bad. The bigger the stadium the worse seats we get.
