Mr. Miles,"what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Why is this reporter thinking anyone cares what Les Miles thinks about the oil spill in the gulf?
He used it for PR and made a visit/public appearance on the shore.

Could someone inform Spike on the difference between "ocean" and the Gulf of Mexico?

Les is in athletics not PR.
The hell he ain't. Those two go hand-in-hand.

True but they aren't Hd football coaches at a major program either.

I heard that dementia is actually pleasant for the patient, its just harder on the family, fans, and general public.

That's what happens when you ask a football coach a non-football question after he's had a few beers. . .

I'm a Les Miles guy, and I'm starting to think that something is not quite right. He might really be starting to show signs of dementia....

Hopefully we'll have a good season (at least 8-4 or better) and we can all rest a little easier.

I just have a funny feeling that Miles' days may be numbered here at LSU if he's shown incapable of doing his job.

That's an esoteric, knee jerk response to a much larger problem.

Now I would love for this same reporter when he next interviews Obama or some other politician to ask him the question: So how would you attack the cover two with the current LSU offensive talent or could you please explain the NCAA compliance rules and changes and how they affect young athletes.

If this question were asked of Les Miles, he wouldn't be able to answer it any better than the "oil in the ocean" question.

I am worried just hearing that uh uh uh um um um uh......if he has to make a quick decision, we are in a world of hurt.

With plenty of time to think about it, you repost this.....should we diagnose the dementia here as well.

With a mic in your face I am certain you would be flawless

a football coaches thoughts should be about football and not oil in the gulf or some such thing. The season is about to start so I'm glad he is focusing on football and obviously not on oil in the gulf. BTW it does affect more than just Louisiana coast and if it were to keep flowing could affect the whole ocean. At least he sees the big picture.
