How concerned should LSU be re: the NCAA witch hunt?

first name that an agent would be all over would be Peterson. Is there a concern after the NCAA seems to be on a war path, ie UNC, SCAR, UF, and now bama
Kinda wonder if something pops up regarding LSU. Hopefully LSU's players are smarter than the others

I expect that the NCAA is all over this with all of the high profile programs.
I bet the coaching staffs are all over this as well reminding players and trying to keep it from happening.

The problem is that is nearly impossible for schools to control this. This isn't a recruiting violation where an employee of the school is breaking rules. You can tell kids not to speak with agents until you're blue in the face, but at the end of the day, you can't babysit them 24/7.

it should help that LA has a law regarding agents etc, but I'm kinda holding my breath for this to die down

So, does the state of Alabama. Unfortunately we can't crucify this idiot agent, because this party took place in Florida. He may end up costing Marvin Austin and Marcell Dareus millions because he was a greedy bastard.

they know or should know the pitfalls of dealing with an agent while you're in college. and yes, it may be tempting, but once in a while they do have to put on a freaking thinking cap and realize that there's nothing free while you're in college.

could be one more high profile player in an SEC school whose name comes up. Nothing substantive to name a name at this point though.

Was this posted by another LSU poster on another board? I'll say this the more teams involved in this the more likely something is done. I know the players have some responsibility but you know that this is almost impossible for these kids to resist; I mean its not like they took money to play at any one school, this doesnt even involve the school.
