Someone was talking about this place this morning, raving about it. I've never been, but I seem to recall hearing some not so positive things in the past (perhaps I'm mistaken?).

What say the food board? Yea or nay?

Not as good as it was 12 years ago, but still some of the best food in BR.

I do like their red sauce and the way some items are served in cast iron dishes.

However I dont like that I am eating with thousands of tiny eyes on me and my food.

I think they have some good things and bad things on the menu so it just depends on what you order. Also, the service can definitely be spotty and it makes for a long dinner in not the most comfortable chairs. All that aside, I really like the place and I always get the french onion soup and the shrimp au gratin.

It's old school, but it's pretty damn good. Last time I went the A/C was broken, so that made me not like them as much, but it's good food.

I went there once with my gf

The good things about the place: It's dark so you can't see how dirty the place is and there was some guy playing a guitar.

The bad things about the place: the food fricking sucks

Yeah....I got this app there once that was described as some delicate pastry with Italian Ham, herbs, and some sort of Italian cheese.

It was quite literally a motherfricking hot pocket with ham and cheddar cheese and some shitty marinara thrown on top of it.

There is no one on this planet that can convince me that they didn't just take a hot pocket and microwave it and throw marinara sauce on top of it.

If they didn't do that, then they probably went to some copycat recipe website for hotpockets and mastered the shite out of it. Man what a bunch of assholes.

So, are there really problems with critters in your food, under foot, or is that just a bit of hyperbole?

When I saw Pinetta's mentioned I wondered how long it would be before you showed up.

It would be better if it was topped with 10 dollars worth of lumped crabmeat and a couple ounces of pretension
