I am really wanting to make the trip down this season but can't really afford lower level tickets to the competitive games.. how is the view from the upper deck? I know I will be in the stadium but is the view really worth drive? Most of all I wanna experience it.. can anybody let me know their opinion on this..

There's nothing wrong with the upper deck.

I would love to just be in the stadium.. but I was always under the assumption that upper deck sucks in any stadium.. weather wouldn't be a problem.. cold weather makes it all the better..

the sun is in your face on the east upper... you're sitting near a lot of visiting fans... many of which are very rude (not gonna mention names, they know who they are)

I've never sat in the west upper before but I really like sitting high up so I can see the field and players better. The view of the game good in the West Upper?

yea you can definitely see the plays unfolding.. i sat up there for the auburn game last year and loved it, could see the whole field even though i was almost to the corner on the south side. was on the east upper for all of 2008, this year my tix are west upper, near midfield, so i will def have a better view than in the past.

Yeah for the spring game I wanted to try out different spots in the stadium. We sat close first and I was just like "THis is too close!" so we went up higher almost near the Upper Decks and the view was incredible. I loved being able to see the whole field and all the players and looking from above to see the game. I might get some West upper tickets this year then if you can see the game that well. Thats all I care about.

the view is great, and like i said if you are on the west upper, the sun is not in your face.. now, if we have one of those awful 11:30am games, its in everyone's face, but that doesn't happen often.. you're also the first to know if it rains hahaha.

I spent a couple of season in the west upper. The view was pretty good. Plus you get the added advantage of being able to see a large part of the campus and the state capitol.

I have never sat that high in TS but might consider it after this thread. Tickets in the lower bowl are a bit outrageous online.

I have had West Uppers for years...since they moved the band to the North EZ...I think the WU is one of the better seats in the house...plus i don't have a madatory TAF contribution..

When Keiland Williams broke that ridiculous run off vs. Va Tech, you could see the whole thing unfold...awesome...

If you are a student of the game, its like watching film live....seeing the blocking and persuit angles..

great view of campus and BR too....they can keep the lowers and the $200/seat fee...I'm good.

I had seats 2 years ago vs Alabama on the very first row of the upper deck and I thought it was the best seat I've ever had.

I sit in the East Upper usually and the worst part is when the sun starts to set is right in your face. Other than that, they're great seats. You see the plays unfolding.

i think if you grew up in the "old" tiger stadium (67,5000 you won't even feel like you are in the stadium.
