Is this a good show? I'm thinkin about watchin the seasons on netflix and was wondering if it's worth it

ETA: I have already watched the entire first season and about to start the second. Definitely my favorite show right now!

Yes, very well-written and well acted. Don't expect to see a lot of football being played, though. I've seen them all from season 1 and I thoroughly enjoy it. Looking forward to next season starting up on DirectTV.

Yea there is very little football played on the show. But, it's really good acting and a really good plot line.

Is it like the next-gen Dawson's Creek?

It is, but the first season is probably also the most uplifting. It's a very good show.

Its better than most of what you find on network TV but they seem to have lost focus this season. The movie, the book and the initial seasons of the show were about the state of Texas' obsession with high school football. This season is more about social situations.

agreed, i keep waiting for more dillion / east dillion drama that i expected this season and it's just not there yet. hell when was the last episode they showed an actual game? i've been okay with it so far kinda taking the assumption they don't want to keep showing how bad the team is.

Well at least this past season had the East Dillon vs. West Dillon game at the end.

You don't strike me as the type who would blurt something out, but for others, please don't reveal what happens without a huge spoiler alert. I'm watching it on NBC.

Fantastic show. Season 2 had a bit of a dip in storyline but 1,3, and 4 were outstanding.

I had never seen this before a month or so ago. I have become pretty obsessed with it. I'm just about to finish season three. The acting and characters are outstanding. There are a few minor things I could raise concerns with, but I love this show.
