25 laps in and not even a thread yet.
What happened NASCAR? Just 2 or 3 seasons ago, there were 50 full time race teams for 43 spots.
Fans are leaving in droves.
I don't even care as much anymore.
What are your reasons?
(and this is not a bash NASCAR thread...I love NASCAR)

Im watching it now. Is there no commercials except for the occasional pop up ads? This is great.

I could get used to that...

I think a few years ago when they switched to the harder tire it hurt. less passing.

Is there a reason why Wally Dalenbach sounds like somebody is sticking a knife in his leg every time a car gets within a foot of another.

Well they have the scripted arse 'feuds' they are trying to get going, but come on, who really believes this shite.
The drivers mostly could give a damn less about winning or losing, as long as the ride sticks around. Th
What made NASCAR fun as hell to watch were the personalities and the equipment (if you aint cheatin you aint tryin). The tight arse watchdogs and the sterile personalities make it hard to attract fans or really get behind a driver.
Kyle Busch is the best thing that has happened to the sport, I actually believe he gives a shite. But it is going to take more than one dude.
Maybe the new spoiler will make the restrictor plate races not such a damn waste of time to watch.

As a lifelong nascar fan, i don't agree with one single thing you said. to each his own, i just don't agree.
and I just bought my tickets for Bristol earlier tonight. August night race in thunder valley.

Thought for sure Jeff was gonna get dumped there.
No way the DuPont can win unless he dumps a car or two along the way.

OK...I haven't seen a Dale, Jr. interview in quite a while.
I happen to think highly of him, and generally hope he does well.
That being said...
He is approaching Joaquin Phoenix territory. What a freakin' space cadet.

He's aight. Rather see him win than Stewart or Johnson.

Jr was pissed about his car tonight, even though he finished 4rth.

it was a dog. he finished 4th because 2/3 of the field wrecked.

I like the FOX crew a helluva lot better than the TNT bunch. A woman in the host seat just doesn't do it for me.

The Fox crew is head and shoulders above TNT and ESPN/ABC.
I wish they would do the entire season, but I guess Baseball and NFL are a bit more important...
