the flash frozen ones in the clear package at Sams are GREAT seared or broiled or grilled. Just remember it doesn't take long!!!

Off the Hook has U/10 dry scallops. And whole foods has them also. Not sure about maxwell's market. Was at the one in Prarieville and didn't notice them.

clean little whit attachment off, sear in hot skillet not non stick in a little olive oil until they let go and serve with drawn garlic rosemary butter. Talks VERY little time on each side.

Driving to Whole Foods now

When I get back, I'll get recipe. It is for a pineapple/cucumber salsa to go with seared scallops. And sauce.

Wholefoods has good scallops. They suck at just about anything other than scallops or pizza.

There is a nice meat and cheese department that does not agree with your thoughts on this matter.

1 cup peeled and diced cucumber
1 cup diced fresh pineapple
3 tablespoons chopped cilantro leaves
1 tablespoon chopped red onion
1 lime, juiced
2.5 teaspoons of lime zest
1 teasppon of finely chopped jalapeno pepper
1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce

In a bowl combine all ingredients and toss, adjust seasoning as you need to fit your liking.

Very simple recipe and really good on top of seared scallops. Working on finding the exact recipe for the sauce. Best friend's special sauce so I'm waiting on him to email me.

So the sauce goes on top after you sear the scallops or do you marinade the scallops in the sauce prior to searing?

I look forward to trying this recipe, sounds awesome.
