Geez - Why don't they put some carpet in there or something? It's the loudest damn restaurant I've ever stepped foot in. It's like eating at a concert.

Yeah it is. Talking in there is like trying to have a conversation at a crowded bar.

Was there a band playing? My wife and I once went there when they had someone playing and they tried to seat us at the bar, I told them I'd rather wait or leave than eat in a concert hall. It's one thing if you're in the mood for a lively dinner, but when I want a nice quiet meal that shite is a deal breaker.

Is it as loud as Superior? Last time we had dinner there we got clamshells and left as soon as they served us. It was like eating in an engine room of a vessel.

Louder IMO, we went one early evening, not too crowded and you could not hear yourself think.....but food was good

i honestly think a crowded bar is quieter .. the last two times i went i literally couldn't carry on a conversation with the person sitting next to me ..

Had a department lunch there and could barely hear the people on either side of me, much less anyone seated more than one chair away. Easily the loudest place I have ever eaten.

No, this was in the dining room. It's got concrete floors and really little wall hangings, etc. It creates this noise vacuum like I've honestly never heard. My wife and I were in a booth and we were literally screaming over all of the crowd noise.

"My God, it's loud in here."
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?"
"I SAID IT'S LOUD! JESUS! LET'S HURRY UP AND GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!"

Yep I ate there an thought the same. Way too loud for a restaurant. Liked the food and thought the place was nice besides that.

Yep. I don't mind noisy and festive, but they need to do something about that. I won't take my sig other there simply because we like to talk when we go out to eat. Sammy's is loud enough.

I agree. It is the loudest restaurant I have ever been too. It's one reason why I won't go back. Food is hit or miss. One time the pork had a weird smoky aftertaste.
