Anyone still play Rockband? Or is it obsolete.
I dusted it off and played Battery float on Carry on my wayward son

I haven't played in ages. I threw out my plastic equipment several months ago. I felt it was time.
I was on the hard/expert level with guitar.
I could only occasionally work my way into hard on Drums. My bass pedal skills needed some serious work.
I hear that the newest version of Rock band is supposed to incorporate a stringed guitar. Maybe you can actually learn a few chords this time around. Colored buttons won't exactly turn you into Pete Townshend.
That being said, I think I've spent my last dime on the music game fad.

I just read about rb3. Awesome that there is actually a real guitar, so you can actually learn something while playing

As an aside, I noticed your sig and thought you might want to know that Guitar Hero World Tour has three Tool songs. I'm definitely getting it based on that fact alone. They also have Tool venue which should be pretty cool.
You can also download songs from the Wii store. I wanted to buy Guitar Hero 5 because it is cheap as hell to download and its like 69 songs at like .10 cents a piece. Pretty good deal with some solid music. Only problem was that it asked for a number to certify the copy of GH and I'm not really sure where to get the number. Anyone have any clue as to how download GH5 and get the "code" to certify it?
