If Bosh/Lebron/D-Wade go to Heat, good for NBA?

It can have it's advantages and disadvantages, but I think this would be cool. It's not often where you see 3 superstar talents play for the same team.

Worthy, Magic, and Kareem were all on the Lakers. worked out well for the league back then.

anything that gets people talking / watching the nba is good for the nba.
As long as its not fighting the fans or players getting arrested.

Good overall. It would draw more casual fans to the NBA, but ticket sales/money from merchandising would go down in Cleveland and Toronto. I think the NBA in general is better when the stars are going head to head, but Toronto and Miami are non factors in the grand scheme of things, so it's a boost overall.

Good for viewership and interest.
Bad for competition.

They need to take it to another division.

Lebron and Wade dont seem like they could coexist IMO

it's not like one team has made the finals three straight years and another two out of three

Like most ppl have said already, it will be good for stimulating interest and revenue in the NBA. However, it would be a downfall in Cle/Tor. Overall it should be good, look at the Lakers back a few decades ago. They were damn good for the NBA

I'm sure Lebron is okay with this storyline..."Lebron is the best player in the league? Hell, Lebron isn't the best player on his team."
There is little doubt that some people would hold this view. Many probably do right now.

I completely agree. So instead of distributing this outstanding FA class across the NBA, they are all concentrated in 2-3 cities. Like I said...bad for competition.
BTW, it's not like that "one team" didn't pull off quite the management coup to get where they are. This would be the FA equivilant.

I'd say it would be a good thing IF they win a couple of championships. If they don't mesh and it all blows up, it could be disastrous from a marketing perspective though.

And Miami is D Wade's city and team. Lebron would be second fiddle there, and I think he's less apt to handle that than Wade would be if he went to Cleveland

Like they have been for the past 5 years? Don't think the NBA has been set on fire with Bosh in Toronto and Wade on some crappy Miami teams since the title.
Why would a 2 30-40 win teams with Wade and Bosh seperately, be any better for the NBA than a 60 win title contending team?

Lebron isn't going to be second fiddle anywhere he goes. D Wade is my favorite player and I am a Heat fan. I don't think it would be egos colliding. Wade doesn't really have much of one, or at least a problem with one. Lebron would love the fact that he is on a legit title contender I think if this happened for Miami.

It would be a great thing, IMO.
Lebron obviously has big off the court ego, but i think he'll do anything to win. Wade is one of the top 3 most competitive players in the NBA. He wants to win, esp after winning a title and being on subpar teams since.
The NBA is fricked. If they add Bosh, thats just lagniappe.

assuming Wade stays healthy

he's been healthy the last 2 years, no reason to assume he'd break down.
