Ben, please contact us to redeem your prize...tigerdroppings@gmail.com.

Keep in mind that I am not completely up to speed with the BR dining scene...but we have added some of the more popular places mentioned a lot on here.
Please let me know if your favorite place is missing or if you see that a popular place isn't there. Just provide a name and area it is located in...or you can use the "Submit Listing" feature to add it.
If you rate at least one restaurant, you will be entered into a gift card give-away, so please rate all the places you have been to. Please also review places if you want to share your experience at a place.
Baton Rouge Dining Guide
Also, we are revamping the look of the guide page, so don't pay much attention to layout and colors...
PS - the recipe and small town restaurant list threads will be re-stickied in a few days...

Martin's wine cellar is not in the LSU area. It is by Essen.
Pinetta can be listed under German as well.
Duvics should be added. They now have a chef. Perkins Rd overpass.
Add Zippy's to College/Acadian

We really need half stars. There are some places that are above average but not worthy of 4 stars.

Chicken, I'm not really sure how to suggest this, but I think you could flesh out the "breakfast" section a bit more.
Local places:
Crawford's Two (Essen)
Frank's (not sure where you would place the Cortana Mall location... and Prairieville)
Mason's (Sherwood)
Superior Grill (Mid City, weekends only)
Piccadilly Cafeteria (breakfast weekends only @ Essen, Delmont Village and possibly more. Want a tour of all of the BR Fire Department hardware? Check out the Picc/Essen parking lot on the weekends)
Yes, the dreaded *chains*:
New York Bagel (Essen and LSU)
La Madeleine (Essen)
even Waffle House and iHop
Place of honor: Mary Lee Donuts (all over town, but there is a line out of the door at ours in Southdowns)
Just throwing out some names here of places that I catch weekend breakfast.

Love it Chicken! Thanks a lot!
Also possibly with breakfast (beignets) but also with sandwiches/soup is Coffee Call on College Dr.
Sammy's is listed in your alphabetical list but I couldn't find it in the neighborhood listings. (You have next to it "Chatsworth Acres" which we discussed in a previous thread as not really being a recognizable area for even people familiar with BR.)
I'd put Sammy's in Essen/Bluebonnet (where Monjuni's on Highland is listed; both are relatively close to Staring Ln., which is the extension of Essen) or maybe even Siegen/Highland.
Coffee Call & Sammy's are both popular restaurants with people visiting LSU.

I'm rating all the ones I know and writing a few reviews of the ones I've been to a lot.
Not sure I'd consider the Burbank Deangelo's a $$ with the new setup. Seems like they targeted the college crowd with food and drinks specials and made it a little cheaper.

What's the ETA on Lafayette being added
Posted on 6/27/10 at 11:04 am to SonOfMike
Mike's son, not sure about Lafayette...we will probably want to populate NOLA and BR fully and add more features before expanding.
Posted on 6/27/10 at 2:20 pm to Chicken
Understandable. I really could have used this last night in Lafayette. We ended up going to Pizza Venti and a negative review would have warned me of the exorbitant prices and 45 min wait for PIZZA.

I'm pretty sure there is something insanely flawed in the rating system when DeAngelos (and quite a few others) has a higher rating than Commander's Palace.
