I have been playing BF2 for the past couple of nights and have been wondering what the major differences are between it and COD:MW2. Is it just the tanks and helicopters?

I don't think you can say better players. It's two totally different games and style of play. Not saying BC2 has better players either.

far more people play MW2 and the game has been out months longer BF2, so by the numbers....there are better players on MW2.

Really? Because more people play automatically makes them better players? Who's to say most those players arent old men who post on gaming boards.

in mw2, you have to kill people in a row, to get armor

in bbc2, all the armor is all right there from the beginning. use it, or get it stolen from you

also bbc2 has spotting

spotting in BBC means if you see someone, or a group of people, you hit the "spot" button and it puts a mark over the enemies head, which all your teammates can see. its a way of "calling out" where the enemy is.

Well crap, I was trying to figure out if I should return it, within the 7 day period and get COD:MW2.

I see alot of people with massive upgrades and stars.

I wouldn't return it. COD:Black ops will be out soon. Maybe rent MW2 first.

And equally as gay as seeing Claymores through walls from eleventy jillion feet away.

Atleast spotting is realistic

Spotting is realistic if you have a group playing together and can vocally point out where people are...like, "hey there's some towelheads over there by the rock."

What isn't realistic is seeing a nice little flashing blue diamond (or whatever the icon is) over a section of terrain. That's where I think it's kind of dumb.

as lew can attest with gps and visual mapping on todays marines 'spotting' with real time visual aids is used in the field today....
