A bit odd, but when could any man predict the end of the world?, seems like someone is either smoking really good marijuana or just trying to get some unwanted attention...?

FWIW, the Mayans never said it was the end of the world. Just the end of the 5th great cycle.

And they missed the supposedly "magical" galactic alignment by a few years. It's already passed.

i think there is a far side cartoon that says "I ended the calender on Dec. 21, 2012. That may mess with people one day."

For real.I thought the Galactic Allignment was still on for Dec. 21,2012.Whether it has or hasn't I hope it's much to do about nothing.

I didn't think it already passed. FWIW, towards the latter part of 2012, solar activity will be pretty crazy. Michio Kaku said that they underestimated how bad the solar flare was going to be in 2012 and that it could be strong enough to wipe out communications satellites and cause worldwide blackouts.

I don't think the world will end, just some bad weather but nothing more. Or.. God will end the world a year later to mess with everyone.

Stop, you are embarrassing yourself. Read more scientific research. Solar flares cannot be predicted tomorrow, much less years from now.
Here's one link, but there are many others including Wikipedia. The galactic alignment happened in 1998.
