Waxman is getting warmed up. This should be interesting.

Waxman just compared BP's corporate indifference to the same attitude that caused the Wall Street collapse.

Well is he just declining on the basis that the internal investigations are ongoing?
I have no idea what an appropriate time line is in terms of conducting an internal investigation, but unless it has been long enough there is no reason to ask the questions.
The CEO of BP is obviously not going to answer a question he is not prepared to answer at one of these hearings. IMO they are going about everything correctly it is just the problem is difficult. I am pretty sure the CEO of BP is going to cooperate to the fullest since they are already screwed and they aren't going to be able to get away with anything.

No legal obligation to do it. Clearly done to get Obama to shut his fricking manpleaser and stop pummeling the share price.

It is actually funny that this congressional panel doesn't understand people lower down the totem pole frick up. These congressmen are so fricking stupid.

They understand that. But hes the CEO. Thats why he gets paid the big bucks. If shite is fricked up he is gonna take the blame whether he knew or not.
