Sorry, this analogy had some holes in it.
I should have clarified shot into space in the opposite direction of the Genesis project.

close.......but they would have ended up in MWC which would have an auto bid in football and could pay their schools decent dollars from bcs and tv money. Kansas isn't getting much now in tv revenue. Baylor going from getting bcs and conference/tv money to being shutout and ending up in some low rate conference is the biggest winner. Iowa state probably runner up.
