The correct phrasing is...."Try to jump start..."

we had a great rivalry with Aggies in the past. The crowds were electric. It was just like a big sec game. It can be the same.

I'm sorry, brother... but if you don't recognize Texas A&M as a rival of LSU, your memory is either very short, or there's something wrong with you.
I would like to think that your memory is just short.
There's a lot of deep connections between LSU and A&M and it's not just football.
They would clearly be a major in-conference rival for us, and that's why I'm excited about having them over.

A&M is a rival as has been said. I would love it. I used to be very pumped for the games against them. This would be a great addition for the SEC.

If aTM joins the SEC, Texas recruiting will be on the minds of all LSU fans while we play @ aTm.
Therefore, it will be a BIG game, every time we go there.
My guess is that the aTm recruiting of Louisiana, which if you will notice the list of aTM signees was significant, will continue.
THey did very well in North LA this year.
When we host, we need to make their stay in LA an embarrassment.
Its is going to be a real and important rivalry from day 1.

TAMU is a bigger rivalry than Arky. (For those Tiger fans who are 35 and older)

im 37. i dont like arkansas, but i still HATE texas a&m. sorry, dude, but its not the same. growing up i hated notre dame, florida, miami, and texas a&m. something about playing them every year that i miss. i miss the bitterness. bucky richardson, r.c. slocumb, quinten corryatt, the wrecking crew, the overalls, the shitty astroturf field, the stupid yell leaders.

I'm only 27 and I clearly remember the A&M rivalry being a good one. I hope it comes back. Outside of Tulane, they seem like one of the only true rivals we've ever had.
