He's posted every rumor he's heard, so one of them's going to be dead on.

I suppose this means either his rumor about the Big 12 staying together OR A&M going to the SEC will be true!

ETA: His rumor about A&M staying with Texas was wrong.

I think there is a huge difference between this, and his tweets that are pretty clearly labeled as 'rumor has it'.

He's been covering athletics in the state of Texas for over 20 years. When he says that an "AD has confirmed", or told him, it's pretty much gospel.

Looks like A&M is either staying in Big 12 or heading East

Hence, when going for it on 4th and 1--- Squeeze, Ags! --- comes into play.

This doesn't mean that the Ag's do not change something. If they do, and he catches wind, he will report it.

He's hours ahead of the pack.

I hate to be the Chip apologist, too.

Regardless, when he cites a source or says "x" has happened, it has.

Things change, but he has no control over that.

Either way, if he says that an AD has confirmed that the head guys met in CS and the Pac-10 has been rejected, you can take him at his word.

So, right now, it's either the SEC or the Big 12 (-2). I bet tomorrow there are no less than 50 new rumors by 3 PM.

It wont work even if they go because they are going to lose a lot of football games.

You don't get it sooner... In the SEC everybody loses football games. That's because we have 8 tough games a year because everyone is good. You guys look down on Ole Miss and think they are a joke. Well, we know better (and so does TTech). Yeah, A&M is going to lose some games, but at the same time they are going to beat some good teams too. That will give them something to hang their hat on while they shake off the effects of being in the Big-12 for too long. You guys have got a lot of schools that hang their heads like abused dogs. We don't have those in the SEC. There's a ton of fight in every last one of our dogs. Yeah, some aren't as big as others, but they don't back down. In five years, A&M is gonna be another pit bull looking for another chance to rough up a show dog like UT. Hopefully, OU comes to the SEC and you can find out for yourself.

Correct.

This DOES NOT mean A&M to the SEC.

It means they have turned down the Pac. Nothing more.
