All gas pumps should ask when you swipe your card -"Do you support offshore drilling?" If you press "NO" then the pump should read "THEN YOU CAN WALK!"

What a stupid thing to say.
But I'll play this game with you...
What's the percentage of fuel that comes from offshore drilling?
Is the US the largest purchaser of offshore drilling within US federal waters? Where else do we get our fuel from?
Is the percentage we get from US offshore drilling negligible?
I don't know but I'm not the one making stupid statements like you.

Nancy Pelosi has the gall to stand if front of congress and demand that we stop all of deepwater drilling and then she gets on her private government jet and flies from DC to San Francisco and wherever else anytime she wants..
fricking unbelieveable
/rant
ETA: And the jet fuel that powers her jet is made right here at Chevron/Pascagoula Refinery. They process 350K barrels of crude a day imported from Venezula!!!

We don't have to drill offshore... we just have to then agree to pay Saudi Arabia whatever the frick they want for oil.

Could really care less who buys what from where? I am more concerned with the amount of people that would be out of a job if the drilling in the gulf were to stay shut down.

Ok, loser I'll play this game with, tankers account for what percentage of the oil dumped into the earths oceans? I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts it's a helluva lot more than what all of the rig disasters combined.

I thought most if not all the drilling goes into the reserves and not into gasoline production?

Who cares about oil dumped into the oceans by tankers?
If it's dumped, it's not going to be used for production.
So join me back to the real world, where we use logic.
How much of the oil procured by offshore drilling goes towards vehicular fuel?

Pretty sure I have read that 30 percent of oil used in The U.S. comes from the gulf.

The one she didn't ask for, you mean. Since she's Speaker of the House she is 3rd in line of succession behind Biden and every Speaker gets one of these for that reason, Bush ordered that this be the case.
Sorry, I'm actually a Republican but I like to get my facts straight. There's plenty to criticize Pelosi about but this isn't really one of them.

About 20 percent of every barrel gets refined into gasoline for vehicles.

She's a fricking hipocrit sorry no skewing that one. The spin stops here.

How many barrels come from offshore drilling and not from shallow water, land, or other countries?
What's the % from deepwater rigs, since the moratorium is only on that.

How about instead of walk a-hole, just jump the price up an extra dollar fifty a gallon.

This is the winning answer. Pelosi in her jet, Gore running his A/C to cool his 12,000 sq. ft. mansion using electricity produced from natural gas, while trying to cram cap and trade through make me want to puke.
