negotiations going on with Texas, A & M, and Oklahoma (or some combination of the three) about rotating the SEC Championship Game to Dallas and/or San Antonio if they come aboard. Just a thought.

I could actually see that, especially if they work out something such as "the loser of the SECCG goes to the Peach Bowl if the SECCG was held in Texas that year".

Putting the game in Atlanta every year gets old if the loser always ends up in the Peach Bowl.

I've never understood why the SECCG is always in Atlanta when you could rotate between Jacksonville, Superdome, Georgia Dome, Titans stadium.

i guess the "atlanta is central" excuse wouldnt work if you add tx/ok schools. i think an ATL/dallas rotation would fix the problem and id be happy

(i live in houston but see dallas as more neutral)

Bama wanted Legion Field to always have it, so Atlanta was the next closest thing.

Seems to me in the newly reconstituted SEC with the addition of Texas A&M and Oklahoma that the best spot for the SECCG would be the Superdome. That isn't any less fair than us having to play Georgia twice for an SEC title in Atlanta.

I think the SEC will keep it in a dome, due to weather concerns. More fans show up and enjoy themselves if its in a dome, rather than out in the weather.

Thus Superdome, Georgia Dome are the prime locations.

I think this as well. And since the superdome gets the sugar bowl, the Georgia dome gets the sec championship.

The Georgia Dome gets the season opening game and the Peach Bowl as well. The SECCG would either rotate or move to the West, or an additional season opening game would be added in Dallas or Houston.
