Top real estate analyst for LA/MS predicts housing prices to fall

Arthur Sterbcow is like E.F. Hutton when it comes to real estate in Louisiana & Mississippi. When he speaks everyone listens so this Bloomberg story is pretty gloomy and it sounds like in the article that these are his predictions as of this week. If the oil gets worse the property valuations could decrease even more.

Friend of ours is being relocated to Houston and just had their home appraised. The house dropped 30% from a 2007 appraisal.

I didn't need a top real estate analyst to tell me this.

Word on the street is that Latter & Blum is up for sale and that Sterbcow is working on something really big which is facilitating the move by Latter & Blum to sell the company before he does make his move.

Weren't they due for a drop anyway b/c of the market correction from the post Katrina spike combined with current economic conditions?
