I would love to see it, but it won't happen.

If I had my say: TAMU, UNC, Va. Tech, and FSU. first three for markets, last one because they will be great again.

They won't expand, because great opportunities to expand have presented themselves before, and we passed.

Slive is talking, for the same reason Obama is cursing on television. . .to convince people he is on top of things. That's it.

It would be dumb for the SEC to make a hasty decision. They're in the position to take a wait and see approach, which other conferences aren't. They could wait a few years, see what's happening, and then make a decision and still be in a strong bargaining spot

if it doesnt include OU or UT i'd rather just stay how we are

just dont see how adding 2nd tier schools from the ACC adds much

I think you are wrong. We shall see.

If you are wrong you will be ridiculed horribly and dragged through this board for all to see.

If I am wrong, I will apologize and move on.

Who knew your ignorance of politics would be equal to your ignorance of football.

The only time in the past 40 years a major conference broke up we expanded.

To not take advantage of the imploding Big12 and get a piece of 3 of the top 10 market share cities would be a HUGE mistake.

You're just dumb.

An expansion into Texas will mean a TV contract at least 1/3 larger than the present.

Yep, it's a common die hard liberal trait.

To grab UNC in a package deal. Still I would rather it if we weren't in the business of catapulting founding member schools. Especially Vandy.

Why? I'm just curious.

Thinking of Texas teams, and OU in the SEC makes me want to barf.

So?

What about the BE/ACC shuffle?

Then it will be a mistake.

If we add UT. If we add TAMU, we get a good team, but our market share would not increase by a huge margin.

II like the Bulldogs, and Vandy gives us a modicum of academic clout.

i dont understand this...

think about how much better the quality of football would EVERY WEEK.

It would be sick... OU-LSU Texas-Bama, LSU-Texas, Florida-Texas, OU-GA

it would be like a national chamionship game every damn week!

granted wed beat up on each other which might hurt national rankings, but the football would be nothing short of phenomenal!
