If UT and TAMU joins the SEC....

and is in the SEC West with LSU, Bama, and Auburn and if LSU maintain their annual game with UF

Because Texans are arrogant and they think they are better than the SEC......
Secondly, I don't want UT and Texas A&M in the SEC.......moving UT and Texas A&M to Pac 10 would only strengthen LSU's recruiting prowess in the Texas area........
You can go to any living room and preach to some Texas boys SEC football in the big boy stadiums of the South vs the Pac 10 and a trip to Seattle for a 9 pm east coast kickoff?
LSU should be happy Texas thinks the SEC isn't for them cause we will continue to get the Russell Shepards of the world.

Wether they will join the SEC or not nobody knows at the present time, but imagine picking up UT and TAMU for the west and VaTech and FSU/MIAMI or hell even South Florida. pretty strong conference.

"IF" UT, A&M, Oklahoma, and Okahoma St. are going to the PAC-10, it makes it the best conference overnight. And if you think kids will stop going to those schools b/c of a 9 p.m. kickoff you're an idiot....
The SEC will be stuck with Clemson, Ga Tech, FSU, or some other conference reject, which in NO WAY, is close to those other schools.

If 16 is the new magic number for whatever reason then the SEC could pickup UT, TAMU, OU and OSU or TT and shift Bama and Auburn to the east.
Not sure what is wrong with 12 teams though.

Dude thats a minute detail I included and NO IT WOULDN'T.........It just makes it bigger! The SEC would still be able to tout big boy stadiums, prime time matchups, and market it's brand as the best conference in the land regardless of this move.........
And no doubt if Texas and the rest of those schools go that route the SEC will follow with possibly Miami, FSU, Georgia Tech, and VT..........
It will maintain its badass time slots with ESPN and CBS.......and will continue to post the best ratings of any conference in the country!!!!

Keep telling yourself that. If you have a USC vs. Texas matchup the same week there's a LSU vs Florida matchup....USC vs Texas wins by a LANDSLIDE!
A few other examples:
Texas A&M vs. Oregon or Miss. St vs. Tennessee
Oklahoma vs. Cal or Georgia vs. Ole Miss.
Just gave you 3 examples where the PAC would win in ratings....so don't give me that badass time slot ratings shite....
