ABSOLUTELY NO! Ever try to actually look at the guy when he is announcing? he squirms and makes facials like he is taking a dump. I would rather listen to the radio of the opposition than to him. Especially, when he says "pucker-up and kiss that baby goodbye".. Total freakin cornhole.

My favorite is "he's hotter than a bottle of Crystal hot sauce" and we can't forget "more nervous than an old cat in a new house."

in friday's game I swore I heard him refer to LSU's fans as "the black and gold"
Posted on 6/6/10 at 9:05 am to Swanky
he had basically given ucla the game in the 7th and was talking in definite terms that LSU was going to have to play 3 games to win the regional

Anybody else notice he mispronounced Alex Edward's last name early on --said Edwards--and someone obviously corrected him? He then went on to overcompensate and say EdwarDDD the rest of the game!

He actually launched into the "pucker up" spiel when Gaudet hit that sac fly to the wall against UCLA.
Check that, I think it was Landry.

CST really needs to get new commentators.

The better quote would be, 'He looks like a man who just took a bite out of an apple and found half a worm.'

As quirky and weird as most of his comments are I kinda like them. It's different and it keeps me entertained. At the very least it's a good laugh.

at least they're knowledgeable about our team. also i like the fact that they are homers. at least they dont try to hide it. these cheesy lines here and there dont bother me that much, still better than hawthorne.
