ysportsncaabb BREAKING NEWS: Multiple sources have told me Kent State's Scott Stricklin will be named coach at Ohio State More later.
looks like he will still be our pitching coach next year as well.

Is it really his fault though? Really? A bunch of freshmen, Ranaudo's injury, etc. i'm not so sure you can just stick it all on him.

Obviously everything was his fault, he's supposed to make guys invincible and there isn't supposed to be any sort of adjustment for HS and JC guys, he's supposed to make them instantly awesome. We should just hire Dave Duncan and get it over with.

quote:Exactly. Grewe isn't nearly as good as the pitching coach we had last year when we won the CWS......
Obviously everything was his fault

After watching Kent St, I don't see why anyone would be interested in their coach.

Kent St has been a pretty strong team for a few years and done well against teams from better conferences. Your statement would be like saying "After watching McNeese, I don't know why anyone would hire Bianco" or "After watching Northwestern St, I don't know why anyone would hire Wells, Van Horn, Cohen, or Gaspard."

I watched that team last night. They were terrible in all phases, hitting, pitching, poise, etc.
Again did not appear to be a very well coached team

Big Ten is exactly baseball heavy. I don't think Ohio St is that much of a change in jobs except that it is in the Big Ten and a named school.

So like many bandwagon fans, what you are saying is that you watched your first LSU baseball game since last June, saw that LSU had a rough game against a pretty damn good No. 3 seed, and blamed it on coaching?

Say what bro???? Im saying the Kent State team is terrible. If I was looking for a coach, probably not the place I would look.
As far as LSU, my dad has had LSU football, basketball and baseball tickets for 30 years. I have probably been to more LSU games than most people on this board.
You are a freaking joke man.

If poor hitting gets us 11 runs a game. I'll take poor hitting 8 days a week!
