IF Fullerton is eliminated today (or doesn't win their regional) and if we do end up winning this regional, do we go back to the Box for a super????

Most likely, yes.

However, if Stanford wins that regional, it would be up for bid between LSU and Stanford.

I think LSU gets the nod between those two. If Minnesota or New Mexico win that regional, we definitely would host the Super at the Box.

Regardless, GEAUX Stanford today versus CSF!

Even though this question has been answered all week, I'll be nice.....

If LSU wins this regional and a 3 or 4 seed wins the Fullerton Regional, LSU hosts.

If LSU and Stanford win, each puts in a bid and the NCAA decides (assuming Stanford would bid).

Yes, I don't see any way they could award it to the team that comes out of the other regional if it isn't Fullerton.

The NCAA is going to be lacking in the pocket book after this year's sub-regional sites. If Cal St Fullerton gets eliminated early, there goes their crowds for the weekend. They put a regional in Connecticut, and they're in danger of going 2 and out. They have already missed out on the 10,000 ticket books that would have been sold in Baton Rouge.

No way they pass on the Tigers for a Super Regional.

Stanfords stadium looks like a palace compared to UCLAs, but still only 4000 capacity, think we'll be alright on the bid process

The NCAA awards Super Regionals (that are up for grabs) based on $$$ alone. If/when LSU wins their regional and CSF looses theirs the chances of LSU hosting the Super is very high.

I dunno... Minnesota's ace looked really, really good last night.

That said, I don't know much about either Minnesota or New Mexico, so it's hard for me to say who I'd rather face.

Yes. If we win out and play at Stanford, I'll make the sacrifice and go there to cheer for the Tigers.

Under those circumstances, the only way it could even be remotely in doubt would be if Stanford won that regional, so that both SR participants would be #2 seeds. In that case, they'd probably look at the non-performance issues like financial guarantees, attendance, etc., in which case it would be a no-brainer anyway. If we win our regional and Fullerton doesn't win theirs, I'd be shocked beyond belief if we didn't host the super.

Of course, we (and they) have a long way to go yet to reach that scenario.
