why would UCLA only bring 400 fans to the regional? they averaged 900 for a regular season game...

We were buying up their tickets today.

That would be awesome if that ends up being the case.

If the capacity is 1250, and they only have singles left...I'm thinking that all of the LSU fans in LA and out west have bought most of the tickets....I honestly think that it really will be a pro LSU crowd. Remember, someone said that UCLA doesn't sell season tickets for baseball....so I bet the majority of their fans just think that thay can buy tickets to the regional sometime this week when they're "in the area"....and the LSU fans out west or even back home in Louisiana KNOW how to scramble for tickets and get them.....I'd be willing to bet most of the tickets sold today were bought by LSU fans....plus the "berms" will be purple and gold.
Is class out for the summer at UCLA? If so, another advantage for LSU fans....
Can't wait for baseball this weekend!

They can put more in there with the berms as well as some temporary bleachers, but it has been mostly LSU fans buying the tickets today from UCLA according to my UCLA sources.

supposedly the stadium can hold around 2,200 with people sitting in the berm...

Probably the most embarrassing retort used to stick up for another school I have ever seen.

That's what I thought. I guarantee that UCLA fans weren't waiting by the phone at 9am this morning to call and get tickets. BUT, at the same time, I bet there were a ton of LSU fans online and on the phone getting tickets at 9am....plus the fact 9am there is 11am in La....I bet the phones at the UCLA AD were ringing off the freakin hook!...and the employees there were like WTF???

lol... naw, I'm hanging back for this one...I've been on the road so much recently I surprisingly have no desire to travel all the way to Cali for this one... Super Regional might be a different story, though, if we can get through this weekend I might make the trip next weekend.
Not to mention I'm still trying to make amends to my Boss for staying in Omaha the full two weeks last year.

Z 2200 may be a lil high. the sources I saw online said they topped out a few weeks ago around 1800, w/ the grandstand & new bleachers full, & the berm maxed out. also the fire marshall was about to have a shite fit

Oh, I'm sure the amount of adult beverages in areas where it is not allowed will keep some cops busy as well. It's going to be like a cat and mouse game.

Hey Los Angeles Tiger,
I'm getting laid off tomorrow, but I just bought 2 tickets in the reserved section. Probably drive down there on Thursday. I may have to drag along Mr. Taylor.

So you are joining the ranks of the many unemployed in California.
It's been rough for those of us that are consultants and freelancers as well.
BTW, knowing you'll be here just made the upcoming weekend so much more fun already.

Yes, my boss thinks she's going to catch me by surprise. Stupid b*tch, my former manager found and out and called me at home. My desk is cleaned, I've downloaded everything I need to, ordered all the MSFT software I could and just waiting for her to show up. May be tomorrow.
So, thank you Microsoft for allowing me to see my Tigers in California!!!
