Thus concludes any possible reliance on the ISR as a predictive tool.

Arizona State better chance of winning than every other team combined?

And only 6.5% AFTER it was down to 8 teams in Omaha.

these seems stupid only one team has greater then a 10% chance of winning the title and it ASU with 50+.

I think the last time a one seed won it all was 2001 when miami won it

What was our chance as the last seed to go undefeated and win the SEC tournament?

Nobody has a 93.4% chance of winning a Super Regional. That's crazy.

If we changed our name from LSU to 'Generic Pacific Coast Team' we would get a lot more love from the ISR.

I'm no math wiz, but how does LSU have a lower chance of winning the natl cship than lower seed UC irvine but a greater chance of winning the regional than UC irvine? Fuzzy math if you ask me.

I like Boyd World and he does great work, but his ISR probabalities are always crazy. First off, the formula consistently overrates West Coast teams and then there's always a WC team with a 40-60% chance to win the title. That's an absurd result. He needs to tweak the program becuase this happens nearly every year, rendering the projection system nearly worthless.
