ULL and SELA should really be rooting for The Citadel, UConn, CSF, and San Diego to win their tournaments..

i dont think they were ever going to have enough wins to get in without winning the SBC tournament.. would have been close..

The Southland tourny could not have gone worse for SLU....Texas State making the finals and losing to Lamar ruined any chance they had left...they needed State to win badly...Southland never has and never will get 3 teams in
Posted on 5/30/10 at 11:19 am to Xenophon
Stanford or Cal will end up getting in imo. I doubt the 4th place team in the Pac-10 gets left out

I dont think SLU is getting in regardless of what happens. Same goes for ULL.
SLU blew their chance but I bet ULL makes the field.

Kentucky would get n before ULL imo

Great West does not receive a bid. They are not a sanctioned D1 conference.

LSU is not hosting ...I am honestly shocked by that ..

No tourney for Fullerton. They earned their auto birth last week.

Not getting in over the Cajuns. They finished 16-14 in the Sun Belt in 8th place. Cajuns were 21-9 and in 1st place. Cajuns took 2/3 from them and WKU's ace is done for his career probably with a shoulder injury, needs surgery.

Just going strictly by RPI, which admittedly is today's and could change by a place or two tomorrow.
But L'ville, Kentucky and WKU would blow up attendance in Louisville.

WKU is going to finish one spot higher in the RPI than the Cajuns, but they won't be in ahead of us. Cajuns are co-champions of the 6th best conference in America. Any chance they had went out the window when Matt Ridings got injured, sucks because he was a great pitcher. Their manager probably overused him. I said they were 8th but they ended up tied for the 6th spot in the league. It would be a huge travesty for them to get in ahead of us.
Maybe if they would have made a deep run in the tourny, but they went 2 and q like we did. I think you have to give the nod to the reg. season champs. Also, Aaron Fitt of baseballamerica.com has us firmly in..

note the Cajuns aren't listed as one of the last teams in or a team on the bubble..
