Covington's Randy LeBlanc, a RHP, verbally committed to Rick Jones and Tulane last night after their game with ULL. FWIW, LeBlanc had longstanding offers from both LSU and TU. Tulane is not going to be dropped from D1, trust me. If what I'm hearing is true, they are not only going to announce some capital projects, but are also for the first time in a long time going to level the playing field as far as their athletes go....

Just read on the Tulane board that the university will announce it next week. It seems the stadium will in fact happen with the potential to add a retractable roof at a later date....

I love my fellow LSU fans, I really do, but some have the IQ of a ULL fan. Tulane has obviously made a commitment to staying D1 by building a very nice baseball stadium and now it seems to be investing in a new on campus football stadium. You don't do those things if you have the intention of drop...

It's not a secret that Jones and Robo don't get along. In fact, alot of coaches think Robo is a hot head and have no respect for him or his program. To answer your question about why Tulane traveled to USA and won't go to Laffy. It is because Tulane owed USA a game from the '06 season. Jones...

I was talking to a friend who is a Tulane season ticket holder and he was saying that for the last few games they have been starting 7 freshman because the 2 sophmores that were starting opening day weren't cutting it. I went ahead and looked at their roster and they have 17 freshman and 8 soph...

According to an article on Tulane's rival.com site, Toledo is quoted as saying this is the last year of the series and he is fine with it. Tulane will make out well with the buyout. LSU was rumored to have to pay in the range of 1.3 - 1.5 million....
