Answer: Anything that has the potential to be bad for the U.S. is good news to the Russians.

I seem to recall the Russians had a necular power plan explode a few years ago. They should be experts on disasters

Maybe in 1984.

However, in today's global economy, disaster for the US is a disaster for the rest of the world, as well.

Everyone is much, much more interconnected today than ever before in human history, and it's time that all of us start thinking globally instead of just our backyard.

They are studying it because that is what scientist do. Learn from other's mistakes and crisis' so you know what to do if it happens to you.

The Russian's track record with nuclear material leaves much to be desired.

Is there a team with the Geoduck as a mascot?
That looks hilarious.

ETA are the toxicity levels accurate?

Is the dispersant really deadly at 2.2 PPM??

The Geoduck Fight Song
words and music by Malcolm Stilson, 1971
Go, Geoducks go,
Through the mud and the sand,
let's go.
Siphon high, squirt it out,
swivel all about,
let it all hang out.

Go, Geoducks go,
Stretch your necks when the tide
is low
Siphon high, squirt it out,
swivel all about,
let it all hang out.

They might be studying it to figure out what the hell they should do if it happens to them maybe? I heard they produce a little bit of oil too

True, but playing some bogus moral equivalence disaster card does not erase an oil-toxified Gulf of Mexico.
