to order our military to sieze all BP's supertankers and order them unloaded. I would also freeze BP's American assets.

I'm retired and my wife walks four blocks to work. I don't have teenage kids with cars of their own driving to Sonic.

So, yes, I guess you're correct.

I have a teenage kid and he has a truck and he drives to school, church and work. He doesn't even go to Sonic ... glad you're retired but some of us DO have to work and we're not all able to work 4 blocks from our home.

He can take a school bus, skip church, and take mass transit to work.

All zero of them?

On what legal grounds?

Bus doesn't go to college dude, I'd never tell him to skip church (your loss if you do) AND dumb arse there is no freaking mass transit where we live. Not everyone has it as "easy" or "nice" as you ... and before you say it no I'm not moving. Please don't tell us what to do.

Rex, Obamao is not an emperor(yet), and he has to live by that pesky little Constitution thingy. It says the govt. CANNOT sieze property without due process. Exactly what would your cause for siezing their property be anyway? I just know that you will no longer be posting on this or any other board as you will be getting off of the power grid today. Enjoy the heat in NOLA this summer sans AC.

By the way, the President has BROAD powers during national emergencies.
