Sorry, but I had to start a new thread for this.

quote:

Joe Horn says he wants to retire as a member of the New Orleans Saints

quote:

At 38, Horn said he is ready to retire officially, and he hinted discussions are ongoing between him and the Saints to make sure he leaves the game as a member of the Black and Gold.
"I've already talked with (General Manager) Mickey (Loomis) and Sean about retiring as a Saint, and I'm glad, " Horn said. "That's the way it should be. Those fans in this city who embraced me and my family . . ." Horn said, shaking his head at the memories. "I was on a carpet ride, and I never wanted to get off."

Joe Horn has been winning me back lately, although, I suppose I had never truly lost my love for him.

Im glad both sides made up after that whole fiasco when he left. With that said I think we should let him retire a Saint. Get it done Mickey!!!!

Joe Horn wanted so badly to be a "diva WR" and it just never quite worked.

Sign him to a one-day deal, but make him PAY the Saints half a mil or so for the privilege.

Does Joe have a big mouth?

Definitely.

Could you question his effort or production?

Absolutely not.

This. I think it's more about the SB victory than the Saints.

I love the guy and have no pron w/him re-signing and retiring as a Saint. I just wonder why it matters, unless he means to play some b4 he retires. Either way, more power to ya, Joe
