Is this oil realated? Fox says it is fish gasping for air trying to get out of the oil. Maybe?
I thought they do this.

Looked like redfish busting on minnows to me. Why would the gulls be there if they were gasping for air?

Yeah I have seen fish out there do something similar to that, so I am not sure that is not sensationalized a bit.

Sure looks like reds busting shrimp or minnows to me as well.
I have seen them do this at night under lights in timbalier bay so I guess they could do it during the day

That water was clean by those reds. I've been in schools of reds in Venice many times.

Total Bullsh*t! That happens all the time, and the redfish don't care what is around them because they are in a feeding frenzy! See the attached video of the exact same thing!

Don't get me wrong, this situation is bad, but the media has no idea what they are talking about most of the time!

where does freedom of the press cross the line between reporting truth and lies. 99% of the stuff i've seen on the TV/papers are complete BS including this

I know I would have put the camera down and cast my gold spoon into that.

Gulls don't eat juvenile redfish......they do however eat shrimp that have been forced to the surface by a redfish feeding frenzy.
