No way that team should have won 24 games in a row (or whatever it was).

probably right but this is a very cruel payback then cause this team should never have lost 12 of 14 including UNO

your subject title is mean.
substitute luck or karma for sins and its more realistic.
the team did not sin. they happened to win a lot of games.
but your point is excellent and applies to all sports.
That's why the LSU football team, even with no proven QB and with the hair raising OC crowton schemes and style of play can still win the SEC WEST, SEC CG AND NC OR OTHER BCS BOWL.
luck happens. the ball bounces. IN 2010 maybe the officials are standing where they can see the nose of ball came out, in that play right before the 2nd and last FLorida field goal, and in that better position, the official gives the ball to LSU who recovered the fumble. Same with the offense holding the jersey and tugging the LSU defender off balance, by the Florida WR which was not called on Florida, on the only TD in the game.

This LSU team cannot buy a break. Half of the games they've lost could have gone either way, but LSU just isn't getting any of the breaks right now.

Just as the 2008 team found amazing ways to win, this team finds amazing ways to lose.
4 runs off of 10/11 walks? 16 runners left on base? A ground ball to the pitcher that he airmails to first base?

baseball is a crazy game. makes the amazing run in the 90s that much more impressive.

That could be the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my entire life...

Nothing to do with 2008. It has everything to do with 2010.

I was just about to start a thread about that.

This line of thinking is part of the problem and if the team is thinking that way then it probably explains a lot.
You can explain a weekend, a week, or even about 10 days that way. But it has been 4 weeks. It is time to admit the team isn't playing well and bad luck isn't the main cause of this clusterfrick. Poor play, lack of focus, lack of execution, dare I even say lack of effort in some cases, etc.
The sooner they realize this they can suck it up and get better, create their own luck. If everyone just keeps saying "hey it's bad luck, things will get better" then they're just going to sit passively by waiting for things to turn around.
