Guess we all knew it was coming. Apparently being dropped mid story-line. awesome closure

First season was great, stopped watching like halfway through the 2nd, went too far out there and the quality of the show declined so much that this was inevitable. Glad I stopped when I did.

I went all the way through this past November, and I couldn't take anymore. This show went from very good to god awful.

True that about the regression.
Company Man in season 1 is one of my favorite TV episodes of all time.

Its about time. I mean has there ever been a tv series that took a dive in quality as quickly as Heroes? Season 1 was pretty good up until the very end when they jumped the shark, by having Peter and Sylar's fight just be a bunch of punches and Hiro coming in and just stabbing him. Also add that Sylar survived. The show never recovered from that episode and from that point just tried to appeal to the lowest common denominator by just thinking of cool super powers and not good plot points (in fact almost all their plot points in later seasons made no sense).

Yeah, definitely saw this coming. I've watched every episode faithfully, but that was just mainly because I was hoping it could make some kind of comeback. This past season was just painful.

I feel the same way. The entire first season was building up to this super epic showdown between the heroes and Sylar. What we ended up with was one of the most anticlimactic finales I've ever seen for a show that started with such potential.

I agree, the first season was just great TV, the second season kinda lost me with the Kinsei storyline and Petrellis father.
I liked the beginning of the third season but then it just got too far out there and harder to follow than lost(I assume, Ive never seen lost).

If you think about it, LOST makes some sense. When you really think about Heroes, it is nothing but a clusterfrick that makes absolutely no sense that has an infinite number of plot holes and lack of reason. They do not want you to analyze their show but just take it at face value. I quit in Season 3 and I really started counting plot holes in each episode, and got up to late 8 in the flashback episode. Thats when I stopped.

i agree about it taking a dive from seaosn 1 finale. the WHOLE season was about this monumental fight, then boom over without any real fighting. laaaame. and the plot holes were just asbolutley ridiculous after that. and could never decide on how to use sylar properly.

Maybe SyFy will pick it up next season?
I heard from a friend that they may try to wrap it all up in a movie.

Not really a suprise...overall more dissapointed than anything...only about a season and a half was worth watching...everything else was just "out there" and "Oh jeez again?" too much for me to be a real loyal fan...

I didn't start watching it until last year, on DVD. I've watched the first 3 seasons and am waiting on Season 4 to come out on DVD.
I agree fully that Season 1 was great. Season 2 was OK at best. They promised to redeem themselves with S3 by doing the Villians season, yet cut the theme off halway through and went in another direction completely.
S4 is in my queue right now for Netflix, but honestly, I'm not excited about it at all.
