top 5 favorite LOST scenes

Any list that doesn't have Penny and Desmond from the Constant as number one is not a viable list.

2. Sawyer strangling Anthony Cooper
3. Hurley running over the dudes in his van and sayid snapping the guy's neck with his legs
4. Locke's suicide attempt/Ben's murder of Locke
5. Richard on the black rock when it landed on the island--his first conversation with MIB

I watched the episode where Sawyer tells Jack about his dad last night....Great scene.

On the Ajira flight when Lapidus walks out of the cockpit to speak to Jack, looks around at the Losties and says "we're not going to Guam, are we".


ETA: Not actually my favorite scene. Just one that I really liked that had not been mentioned.

Phone call in the constant is great. I just watched that one last week, I love all the build up. "I know you don't understand, but you have to trust me! Christmas Eve, 8 years from now, I'm gonna call you. I have to call you Penny. I need your number!"

What I think is the funniest scene is when they first find the dharma beer and sawyer cracks one open. They do a close up of the skull and sawyer cheers's the can off of it. "Bottoms up!" That cracks me up every time.

One of my favorites is in season 1 when Locke is pounding on the hatch. "WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?" Then the huge beam of light. Also the end of S1 when they open the hatch and Locke and Jack look in, and the camera does that thing where it goes down the hatch while looking up at them.

I don't have a list as of right now, but I wanted to add some. The scene where Hurley tells Richard what Isabella was saying, and then Richard could hear her. Also the scene where Charlie is drowning (not a good scene, but heroic). Also the scene where Kate and Juliet are in the jungle, where Juliet says "I hope you're not going back for Jack" and Kate ends up dislocating her shoulder. Another, where Kate radios back to Jack when she is safe on the beach and Jack has her tell her the whole count to 5 story from the ER of Jack's first spinal surgery. I'll think of more later on.

My favorite is definitely the phone call though b/w Des and Pen.

Any scene where the island is moved, as well. Especially the one that started the time flashes. Also the scene when Locke and Des don't push the button and Ben and company and Kate/Sawyer/Hurley/Michael/Walt, etc see the sky light up and turn violet per Claire.

Sawyer with Cooper scenes were awesome, as already posted. Also agree on the Sawyer telling Jack about his dad scene and with others on this thread.
