on the sideline watching coach zierlein sprint down the sideline yelling at amedee to not call that last pass on 3rd and 2.
I remember in the post-game interview Lynn Amadee said he would call the same plays if he had it to do over again. Talk about nightmare era in LSU football.

you posit the wrong question totally. It should read like this: Where were you when Lynn Amedee told Jamie Howard to throw the ball when LSU was up by twenty four points in the fourth quarter. Why did CH let him do it? Why didn't CH fire him on the spot after LA blamed it all on JH
You are correct that the problem was Lynn Amedee. After Hallman was fired, Amedee tried to get the head coaching job without success.

Working at PC Warehouse but watching the game. I still can't believe we lost that game.

at the fair in Ft. Smith, Ar. watched a little on a TV someone had set up there.

I was at the game. That was one of the worst feeling I had after a LSU game of any sport. Thought we were on the way back as far as LSU football, then your heart breaks. Alot of coaches got thrown under the bus after the game.
That game was unbelievable.
That game was unbelievable.

I was sitting 3 rows from the fielding total disbelief. To this day I still hate to see 3rd and 4 on the scoreboard in that stadium.

I was in my parent's living room and ended up being told that I could never watch another game in their house... I threw the remote on the ground and broke it!!!

I was at home with my folks watching it at 12 years old. I think I dropped my first F Bomb when he started throwing into triple coverage.

yeah i was 17 and had to live through some shitty seasons before that one too. 92 was really bad even though some of the losses were close.
i was in silver creek, MS by the way, we had just moved out of LA unfortunately to the worst state and worst house in the state and live through that crappy football.

the old barn gymnasium at auburn burned in 96. lsu 19-15. raion hill's pic sealed it. if i heard correctly, an lsu fan left a grill too close to the old gym. idk.
I don't know where I was in 94, but I rememeber becoming a fan of the Tigers after watching this game.
