Other than Joe Paterno, who has pulled an once accomplished program from a death spiral back to respectability?

Mack Brown after 2003 Season/2004 OU Loss

Couldn't win a Conference Title and Stoops was his Master. Quite the reversal.

Not really, Texas has only won the Big12 once since winning the National Title in 05. Oklahoma won in 06, 07, and in 08.

Oklahoma still owns the Big12, and its not even close.

National Championship count as double compared to conference titles. And with Texas winning the last two head to head matchups. I would say both are right their with each other in terms of Conference prestige

I don't know if he's off, but Jack Del Rio seems to be on the hot seat every year and has managed to keep his job.

Last Five Years:

Big 12 Titles: OU - 3, Texas - 2
Big 12 Record: Texas - 34-6, OU - 31-9
Head to Head Wins: Texas-4, OU-1
Bowl Record: Texas - 4-1, OU - 2-3
Overall Record: Texas - 58-8, OU - 50-17

Know which one I'm taking.

Bama wasn't in a death spiral.

I don't know if I would call LSU a truly accomplished program. They have a good overall record, but only had 1 title until last decade.

Not sure if this counts, but Frank Beamer took a horrible Va Tech program, struggled for like seven years, and made them a contender.

I should have clarified - who has been coach of a program that went into a death spiral under their watch, but they were able to bring it back to its prior stature.
