What team becomes the disappointment of WC 2010?

Can't tell you why but I can't shake the feeling that Italy shits the bed early in the knockout stage.

Very unlikely. This will be the South African winter. Temperatures are going to be favorable to the European sides. I wouldn't be shocked to see three of the four semi-finalists be of European origin.

Out of the teams with a legit shot to win:

Spain, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Argentina and France, probably Italy. They won't repeat, no way.
