don't want a guy like JR anywhere near the Saints. He is not a leader. He has already proven that he doesn't take football serious. If he wasn't serious about it while he was making $30 million, why in the world would he be serious when he's making $1 million?
I agree that he is not a good leader but coming to the saints organization will give him the chance to change that. He won't be counted on to be a savior of the whole organization. He will be under a good coach witch he never received in Oakland and he will be able to learn what its like to be a great QB/leader under one of the best QB's and leaders in the league in Drew Brees.

Serious question. Who has the right mix of talent and coaching to put this kid in a situation where he is most likely to succeed? I really want to see him do well at the next level
you want to see him suceed, while JM just wants to get paid. Don't count on him applying himself anytime soon until he blows all his money on food, whores , and bling...he might find some motivation to apply himself then when he's broke

Coaching pee-wee football. Any team.

The saints should pick him up, he could double as the mascot. He could dress in a st. chewbacca uniform. I would pay to go see that!!

No team is interested in Russell.

As JaMarcus's agent, I think you should be out there looking for a job for your client.

A team where the head coach is a no-nonsense do it my way or the highway disciplinarian.
Bill Belichick comes to mind.

My immediate thoughts on the subject are that he needs to go to a teams with an above average O-line as he isn't the best scrambler.
Which team had an above average O-line last year?

I think he would excel here:

Ok. You got me.
Anyway, he definitely needs an excellent O-line.

Nobody. He's too lazy to play in the NFL.

I betcha Pete Carroll could come as close as anyone to making Russell an NFL player, but it would still require some effort on his part.

As Tiger fans, we probably all want that to happen, but if he'd played for any other college most would agree that he just doesn't have the fire. Unless we're talking about a camp fire to roast hot dogs, that dude can eat.

I would say the Saints. Bring him in as a league minimum back up and let him learn under a great QB in Drew Brees and a great QB coach in Sean Payton. The saints have tons of talent at the skill position that would help him. Also he has more potential than any other QB on the saints roster like Chase McDaniels.
No way. Sean is too smart to waste a roster spot on JR.

Doesn't Sean currently waste a roster spot for Mark Brunell?

I'd like to see Parcells give him a chance in Miami. If he buckled down and listened to Parcells it could work out good for both parties considering the Dolphins QB situation.
If he ends up going to another dump team like Cinncy, Cleveland, etc. the result will be the same as it was in Oakland.
