Why Is it SLU and not ULH?

So if Southwestern LA and Northeast LA wanted to drop their directional names to become ULL and ULM, why didn't Southeastern LA become ULH?

The administrators in Monroe were the only one stupid enough to bend over for their counterparts from Lafayette.

Becuase ULL and ULM are second rate schools. SLU is a third rate school.

All of the colleges in La. that are not part of the LSU system are under The University of Louisiana system, besides Southeastern and Northwestern, it also includes Grambling, Southern, and La. Tech. For you youngsters, UNO is part of the LSU system.
