Is that quote from Mitrone?

Sounds familiar. That dude is a bigger meat head than Kimbo. I'm still trying to figure out how he got into Purdue even though it was on Football scholarship.

Yeah, it's him from TUF. Dude was so agrivating and everyone wanted him to get a beat down. He ended up being pretty damn good though.

That's a Mittrione quote. He got knocked around during The Ultimate Fighter and wandered around the house for days talking about how his brain got scrambled.

I think Machida wins over Rua....even though I think Rua is a great fighter. Machida is just so shifty and hard to hit. He's just one fo those "natural" looking fighters.

I think he learned a lot from his last fight with Rua and will be able to apply it.

Yea he kept his cool when Big Baby was all in his face acting completely psycho then knock his arse out on the finale.

I hope Kimbo beats his arse. Never thought I would say this but I became a fan of Kimbo after watching TUF. I'm curious to see what Kimbo weigh's in at

I think so too. Machida seemed to be back to his old self in his last fight. Just eluding until the decision. He looked awesome against Thiago Silva and Rashad Evans and I hope he gets back to that.

Yeah I always thought Kimbo would be a thug, but after watching him on TUF you realize he is a reasonably intelligent guy who just loves to fight. Honestly, he came off as the nicest, most humble, down to earth guy on the entire show(with the exception of maybe Marcus).

I wish he had come to MMA earlier in life. He probably could have developed into one of the all time greats, but his age and the wear and tear on his knees will probably prevent that. His amazing power, speed, and overall cardio will probably carry him for another year or two and a few more victories.

I'm not sure about that. though he does appear to have more sense than Mitrone.

Well reasonably intelligent doesn't mean he's a mensa candidate, but I think he's got some smarts, has read more than a few books, and can express himself better than 90% of the other MMA fighters. Definitely much better than Chuck Liddell.

Also, it takes more than a little brains to turn fame earned from underground/backyard fighting into a legitimate brand that you can make moeny off of.

Exactly. I got all into that season simply bcs he was there and I wanted to see what he could do. Really thought he'd get killed. However, ended up really liking the dude. He is very very humble and was trying his best to be a sponge.

His legs were just bad. Skinny and couldnt hold up. Want him to kill Matt M.

Like the Central pic there. I'm a CHS 99 grad.

Well that's a bad stereotype because most of them do have some intelligence and then you have the Diaz brothers.

I have no doubt most of them have some intelligence.

I guess my perception on Kimbo might have come more from the fact that he is older and perhaps wiser than the average twenty something fighter running his mouth.

I guess the stereotype comes not from the professionals but from the amateur meatheads wearing the tight tapout/affliction shirts who think they are the shite because they rolled around on a mat for a few hours one week.

True. Doesn't Forrest Griffin have a degree in finance or poli sci from Georgia. He was complete batshit crazy a-hole on TUF.

Should be on the main card just for Filthy Tom's entrance.
