Arguably the two greatest pitchers of my time...
In their primes, which one are you taking?

He only pitched in the AL during the height of the steroid era and was still a badass
Maddux feasted off the JV side

I was at Dodger Stadium one time and I saw Hideo Nomo fricking CRUSH a three RBI double off Randy Johnson and therefore he sucks imo

some of the best hitters were in the NL during that time frame. you got the rockies and their field.. you got mcgwire, sammy sosa, the big cat, barry bonds.. etc all in the NL.

+1. Also, Pedro did all that with Fenway as his home ballpark which is one of the best hitters' parks in baseball.

Maddux 92' 2.18 ERA 267IP
93' 2.36 ERA 268IP
i take that over Pedro's 220IP seasons.

In the postseason, I would take Smoltz as my pitcher over Maddux every day of the week.

Clemens should be in there. But anyway. Its MADDOX by a landslide!!!!!

pedro by a landslide. He did it in the AL which as we see pitchers who go to the NL lower their ERA by a run and he was playing against the yankee teams that won numerous world series. The NL is an inferior league and you guys know that. On that note, i would not be disappointed if mad dog was on my team

WOW!! Did YOU just open up a can of worms.
REAL baseball is played in the NL. Fake baseball is played in the AL.

The American League is a man's league. The National League is where boys can dominate.
