Glad to see this guy go to the NFL. I think with the right coaching, he could do some great things. He has finally grown up and is a nice young man now. To bad Les couldn't coach character early in his career and make sure someone stayed on him, or he might have competed for a heisman like he said he would...

Great job getting your life together and good luck Ryan!!

How does going to the NFL correlate with changing/improving your life?

I wish the kid good luck in the NFL and in life, but it's really a stretch to imagine Miles failed him by "not coaching character." It's much more likely that Miles tried to drill some sense into the kid, but it never took. I mean Jesus, Perrilloux was the franchise, the SECCG MVP, with a straight shot to a huge NFL pay day—you really think Miles never once tried to put these things in perspective for the kid?

Anyway I hope he has a great career in the NFL. If he's gotten himself together and he busts his arse to harness his talent, maybe he'll make it after all.

Yea, blame a 20 year old's immature decisions on his college football coach.

If Ryan Perrilloux has grown up and is a nice guy now, then I'm glad for him and I hope he does well in the NFL, but to blame his behavior at LSU on Les Miles' not coaching character is ridiculous. You can't "make sure someone stayed on him" because coaches are limited in the number of hours per week they can be with players. Perrilloux's failed college career is HIS fault and no one else's.

He doesn't deserve anything.

Based on what? He even got himself in trouble at JSU.

Perriloux won't be on the roster for long.
