I have always used the bags along with liquid crab boil and cayenne added but I am going to try and use the powder for the 1st time this weekend. I know I will not need to add any salt but should I still add some liquid boil and cayenne? I like my crawdads VERY spicy. If any of you have experience with the powder pelase let me know. Also what is your preferred method of seasoning for crawdads? bags powder or liquid?

My husband is a rice/crawfish farmer and we ONLY use POWDERED LOUISIANA seasoning ... ONLY. And they come out awesome EVERY TIME!

Just use more powder if you like em spicy. Like 1 an 1/2.

It is all about the powder no doubt. I like to add salt even with the powder though.

Shouldn't that be "they" rather than "then"?

No and that is why I want to try the powder. I am an old timer that has always used the bags and always been very happy with the flavor but I am tired of picking the busted bag crap out. I plan to use the powder but I will be adding cayenne as well as I have had many peoples crawdads boiled with the podwer and most were not hot enough for me but almost all had a very good flavor.

The bags when they bust. That and liquid crab boil were our only options years ago.
